Empowered Body and Eating Group

Join registered dietitian Marissa Karp and licensed therapist Alex Leff for an 8-week transformative group experience designed for women seeking a deeper connection with their bodies, improved relationship with food, and greater self-esteem. This group offers a safe and supportive space to heal from disordered eating, explore self-worth, and rediscover your inner strength. Through a combination of evidence-based practices, experiential exercises, and group discussions, you will:

  • Learn to nourish your body with confidence and ease.

  • Uncover and challenge limiting beliefs about food and body image.

  • Develop tools to navigate emotional eating and self-sabotaging patterns.

  • Cultivate body respect, self-compassion, and resilience.

  • Build a supportive community of women who share your journey.

  • Each week, we’ll focus on a key theme:

    • The history of food/body 

    • Intro Mindful eating:

    • Inner wisdom: physical vs. psychological hunger

    • Inner wisdom: virtues and values

    • Cultivating body neutrality / self compassion

    • Movement as act of self love 

    • Personal boundaries / energetic protection

    • Self love / practices / body manifestation

  • Details:

    • Duration: 8 weeks

    • Format: Weekly 75-minute sessions (zoom virtual)

    • When: Tuesday evenings at 7:15-8:30pm EST (starting 1/21 and ending 3/11)

    • How much: $950 paid in full or 2 payments of $525 (half due upon signing up, other half a month later)
